1. Rajkumar Rao was the original choice for role of Deepak in Masaan. Later Neeraj Ghaywan offered this role to Vicky Kaushal.



2. Anand Kumar (Founder of super30) gave some tips to Amitabh Bachchan to play the role of Math Teacher in movie Aarakhsan.

3. Shah Rukh Khan was the Original Choice for Arshad Warsi role in movie Jolly LLB. Even Makers of Jolly LLB waited SRK for few month but guess what He was busy in making “Chennai Express”. So Later Arshad Warsi played the role. This film won two national awards along with Filmfare. Akshay Kumar will now be in the sequel, Jolly LLB 2.



4. The Bachchan’s do not sit back when it comes to Famous Bollywood Movies, they hold the Guinness World record for being the only father-son duo to have played reversed roles on-screen in Paa.


5. Dil Dhadakne Do kicks off with Anil Kapoor, the patriarch of the Mehra clan, going on a cruise with his wife Shefali Shah to bring in their 30th wedding anniversary. Anil Kapoor actually had his real life 30th wedding anniversary with wife Sunita while shooting for the film. But Sunita, unfortunately couldn’t accompany him on the shoot and thus couldn’t celebrate on the day, May 19.

6. While shooting for Anurag Kashyap’s movie “Ugly”, none of the actors were given the whole script or the story of the movie. The scene and dialogues were told to them on a daily basis.



7. Shahid Kapoor was the first choice movie Raanjhanaa. But he rejected the role because two of his previous movies, Mausam and Teri Meri Kahani, were a disaster at the box office. Raanjhanaa turned out to be an amazing movie loved by the public and the critics, and also introduced another talent, Dhanush, into Bollywood.



8. Actor Amjad Khan was almost dropped from ‘Sholay’ (1975) because scriptwriter Javed Akhtar found his voice weak for Gabbar Singh’s role. Danny Denzongpa was approached for that role initially.



9. Darsheel Safari is a part of Shaimak Dawar’s dance troupe. During one of the classes he saw a poster that read “hunting for a naughty kid. If you get selected, you’ll get a chance to act with Aamir Khan.” During the same class, Amol Gupte spotted him and asked him to do an audition. He eventually got selected and played Ishaan.


10. The role of Rancho in 3 Idiots (played by Aamir Khan) was first offered to Shah Rukh Khan which he refused as he was busy shooting for “My Name is Khan”.
